Eyes Caught Fire was started in early 2002 with a unified mind to awaken the calloused hearts and minds of the people around us. Mixing raw, untamed emotion with tightly focussed energy, we want to provoke response from the softest heart to even the most astute analytic. Our thoughts are concentrated on providing release for the repressed spiritual state of being that exists in our culture. We want our music to touch on the more primal aspects of love, fear, and hope.

While hard to categorize, our music brings together elements of post-rock and dream pop styles. The sound created provides room for your imagination to roam while also accomadating your mind with just enough of an edge to keep you from slipping away entirely.
